Endovenus Laser Treatment (EVLT®) is the latest method wherein a very small laser probe is inserted into the greater saphenous vein. EVLT® treatment is fast (typically one hour) and minimizes discomfort and recovery time.  EVLT® does not require general anesthesia and is a walk-in, walk-out procedure.

Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy is the process of injecting a sclerosing medicine into the vein followed by tight compression and can be used to treat the greater saphenous vein.  Each case is individual.
